Traditional Worship
8:30 a.m., Sunday
Our traditional worship follows a classic pattern of Christian worship, from the Call to Worship and Opening Prayer through the reading of Scripture, the Lord’s Prayer, Affirmation of Faith and Final Blessing (Benediction). All this is tied together by the singing of traditional hymns (like, Amazing Grace and Be Thou My Vision) accompanied by the pipe organ. You’ll hear the Chancel Choir sing as well.
Worship at the Rock

The Rock is thoughtfully designed to be new, engaging, inviting, and welcoming while staying rooted in who we are as a church. Together with our Worship Team we are creating a meaningful way to connect hearts to God and one another. Please join us as we encounter Christ in fresh ways.
Wonderful Wednesday Worship

At SLUMC….
- we sit anywhere we are comfortable.
- we don’t worry about needing to take a little one out of the service. There is a nursery down our South hall. We also don’t get bothered when littles “speak up”. Activity bags for children are available near the SW sanctuary door to assist in keeping children in our worship time.
- we enjoy fellowship. You are invited to stay after the service for coffee and treats that are provided.
